Kind Code: A1 A suspension preparation of an insulinotropic peptide (eg glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) or exenatide) is described. The suspension formulation comprises (i) one or more polymers and one or more solvents, a non-aqueous single phase vehicle exhibiting viscous fluid properties, and (ii) dispersed in the vehicle. Included are particle formulations that include insulinotropic peptides. The particle formulation further comprises stabilizing ingredients including, for example, one or more stabilizing agents such as sugars, antioxidants, amino acids, and buffers. Also described are devices and methods of use for delivering the suspension formulations.
