The disclosed apparatus for removing offensive odor comprises: a housing equipped with an air inflow unit and an air discharge unit a radical generator installed inside the housing for generating radicals which reacts with an oxidative substance in the air flowed to the inside of the housing a first radical sensor installed at the rear end of the radical generator for measuring concentration of the radicals and a control unit for controlling a motion for generating the radicals of the radical generator on the basis of the measured value of the first radical sensor.
