The present invention relates to a method for preparing a bone repair material comprising a porous block-shaped scaffold containing a crosslinked polyethylene glycol hydrogel formed by a Michael type addition of at least two precursor molecules. Said scaffold is made of a synthetic ceramic material and comprises interconnected macropores having a diameter of at least 100 μm, In addition the scaffold has a total porosity of 80 to 95%, The method comprises the steps: (a) mixing an aqueous solution comprising a first precursor A with an aqueous solution comprising a second precursor B, whereby the total concentration of the first and the second precursor in the mixture is less than the equilibrium concentration of the hydrogel, (b) adding the mixture of step a) to the porous block-shaped scaffold, and (c) vacuuming the bone repair material obtained in step c), to allow reaction between the first and the second precursor.La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation dun matériau de réparation osseuse comprenant un échafaudage en forme de bloc poreux, contenant un hydrogel de polyéthylène glycol réticulé formé par une addition de type Michael dau moins deux molécules précurseurs. Ledit échafaudage est fait dun matériau céramique synthétique et comprend des macropores interconnectés ayant un diamètre dau moins 100 µm. De plus, léchafaudage a une porosité totale de 80 à 95 %. Le procédé comprend les étapes consistant à : (a) mélanger une solution aqueuse comprenant un premier précurseur A avec une solution aqueuse comprenant un second précurseur B, ce par quoi la concentration totale du premier et du second précurseur dans le mélange est inférieure à la concentration à léquilibre de lhydrogel, (b) ajouter le mélange de létape a) à léchafaudage en forme de bloc poreux, et (c) mettre sous vide le matériau de réparation osseuse obtenu dans létape c) pour permettre une réaction entre le premier et le second précurseur.
