PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a personal computer from being damaged, by controlling an activating form of the personal computer which is used as a part of a nurse call master unit depending on the remaining capacity of a battery for an emergency power source device.SOLUTION: The nurse call master unit 3 includes a master unit body 30 communicating with a control device 4, and a display 31 comprising the personal computer for displaying patient information, and is connected to a first uninterruptible power supply 7 for a power source of the display 31. The power source CPU 72 of the first uninterruptible power supply 7 outputs a stop signal for stopping the display 31 when the blackout continues for a predetermined time, and outputs an activating signal for activating the display 31 after electricity is restored. Further, the power source CPU 72 outputs a power-saving activating signal by which the display 31 is activated in a power saving mode in the case the remaining capacity of the uninterruptible power supply battery 71 is less than 50% when the electricity is restored after outputting the stop signal.COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT【課題】 非常用電源装置のバッテリー残容量に応じてナースコール親機の一部として使用するパーソナルコンピュータの起動形態を制御し、パーソナルコンピュータの破損を防止できる。【解決手段】 ナースコール親機3が、制御装置4と通信する親機本体30と、患者情報を表示するためのパーソナルコンピュータから成る表示装置31とで構成され、この表示装置31の電源として第1無停電電源装置7を接続した。この第1無停電電源装置7の電源CPU72は、停電が所定時間継続したら表示装置31を停止させるための断信号を出力し、復電後には表示装置31を起動させる起動信号を出力する。また、電源CPU72は、断信号出力後に復電した時に、無停電電源装置バッテリー71の残容量が50%未満である場合は表示装置31が省電力モードで立ち上がる省電力起動信号を出力する。【選択図】 図1
