The present invention relates to a method and a system for producing a tape for correction of a motion pattern of a part of a body comprising a machine(1) for producing the tape, a memory location (5) for storing a plurality of predefined motion patterns associated with a part of the body, a memory location (6) for storing tape templates defining a contour of a tape for correcting a motion pattern, a display unit (12) for providing information about said motion patterns, and allowing a user to choose the motion patterns, an image device (14) for capturing an image of a part of the body,an image processing module (7), and a tape production module (8) adapted receiving information about a chosen motion pattern, to select templates, determine the contour, generate instructions for producing the tape based on the determined contour, and transfer instructions to the machine for production.
