PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which holds the inside of the worn place of the absorbent article to low humidity to improve a wearing feeling and becomes hard to cause the rash of the skin.

SOLUTION: An air-permeable water-repellent sheet 10 of which the air permeability measured according to JIS P8117 is 2-100 sec/(300 mL-32 sheets) is arranged between an absorbing core 4a and a humidity-permeable sheet 3 arranged on its back surface side. Further, a space-forming material 11 having a space permitting air to flow over its thickness direction and/or its planar direction is arranged between the air-permeable water-repellent sheet 10 and the humidity-permeable sheet 3. The space-forming material 11 preferably comprises a large number of unidirectionally oriented long fibers, a nonwoven fabric or an open-cell foam.
