The present invention relates to a tablet form of cosmetic composition and a method for preparing the same, the tablet form of cosmetic composition being prepared through direct tableting with a removal of a molding plate included in a conventional powder type or cake type of cosmetic material. More specifically, the present invention relates to a tablet form of cosmetic composition and a method for preparing the same, the tablet form of cosmetic composition being obtained by mixing a mixture powder containing a makeup powder and a viscosity controlling agent and an aqueous dispersion containing water, an alcohol, a polymer for a lubricant, and a polysaccharide for a binder, followed by granulation and then molding using a tableting machine. According to the present invention, by providing a tablet form of cosmetic composition obtained by direct tableting without a molding plate, the aesthetic beauty and portability of the cosmetic composition was greatly improved while a cosmetic effect in a conventional powder or cake type of powder cosmetic composition was maintained.
