The present invention relates to a plastic sheet covering apparatus having a novel structure which facilitates the operation of placing a plastic sheet to be pressed by a pressing wheel while the plastic sheet is in contact with the ground. According to the present invention, the plastic sheet covering apparatus comprises a fixing means disposed on a supporting frame (10) and configured to fix a rear end portion of a plastic sheet (2) that has passed by a lower side surface of the pressing wheel (40), so that while the supporting frame (10) is raised upwardly and the rear end portion of the plastic sheet (2) is fixed to the fixing means (69), by lowering the supporting frame (10), both sides of the plastic sheet (2) can be pressed and fixed by means of the pressing wheel (40) while the plastic sheet (2) is in contact with the ground. Accordingly, the plastic sheet covering apparatus can conveniently place the plastic sheet (2) such that the pressing wheel (40) can press the upper surface of both sides of the plastic sheet (2) in contact with the ground； and eliminates the need for an operator to hold the plastic sheet (2), thus protecting the operator from being hit and injured by the plastic sheet covering apparatus when the plastic sheet covering apparatus is lowered.본 발명은 비닐이 지면에 밀착된 상태로 가압휠에 의해 가압되도록 배치하는 작업을 손쉽게 할 수 있는 새로운 구조의 비닐피복작업기에 관한 것이다.본 발명에 따른 비닐피복작업기는 비닐피복작업기는 상기 지지프레임(10)에 상기 가압휠(40)의 하측면을 경유한 비닐(2)의 후단부를 고정할 수 있도록 된 고정수단(60)이 구비되어, 상기 지지프레임(10)을 상측으로 들어올린 상태에서, 상기 비닐(2)의 후단부를 고정수단(60)에 고정한 상태로, 지지프레임(10)을 하강시키면, 상기 비닐(2)이 지면에 밀착된 상태에서, 비닐(2)의 상면 양측이 상기 가압휠(40)에 의해 가압고정된다.따라서, 가압휠(40)이 지면에 밀착된 비닐(2)의 양측 상면을 가압하도록 비닐(2)을 배치하는 것이 매우 용이한 장점이 있을 뿐 아니라, 작업자가 비닐(2)을 잡고 있을 필요가 없어서, 비닐피복작업기가 하강될 때, 작업자가 비닐피복작업기에 부딪혀 부상을 입는 것을 방지할 수 있는 장점이 있다.
