A medical image augmentation device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a calibration part calibrating a three-dimensional physical space coordinate in which an operator is displayed and a two-dimensional space coordinate shown on a transparent display； a location tracking part tracking the location change of at least one of an actual object, the transparent display, or an operator； an image matching part matching a virtual model, which is obtained by processing an image of the actual object, with the actual object shown through the transparent display； and a display processing part overlapping and displaying the virtual model, which is matched to the image matching part, on the transparent display. According to an embodiment of the present invention, convenience in surgery may be provided to a doctor during the surgery by easily checking a three-dimensional image of a target object for the surgery.본 발명의 하나의 실시예에 따른 의료용 영상증강 장치는 술자가 보는 3차원 물리적 공간 좌표계와 투명디스플레이에서 보이는 2차원 공간 좌표계의 캘리브레이션을 수행하는 캘리브레이션부, 실제물체, 투명디스플레이, 또는 술자 중 적어도 하나의 위치 변화를 추적하는 위치 추적부, 실제물체의 영상을 가공한 가상모델을 투명디스플레이를 투과해서 보이는 실제물체와 정합하는 영상 정합부, 그리고 영상 정합부에서 정합된 가상모델을 투명디스플레이 상에 중첩하여 표시하는 표시 처리부를 포함한다.
