PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair treatment enhancer, a hair cosmetic kit, and a hair treatment method, which are excellent in adhesion to damaged hair and are able to improve and protect or repair the function and property of hair.SOLUTION: According to the present disclosure, a hair treatment enhancer comprises a protein (first component) having side chains in which 1/10 or more of the total amino acid residues are amino acid residues having either of carboxyl groups or sulfate groups or derivative residues thereof and at least one (second component) of lipids having C12-30 side chains and acidic functional groups or salts thereof. The hair cosmetic kit of the present disclosure includes a first agent including the first component and a second agent including the second component. The first agent and the second agent are brought into contact with the hair of the subject and used, respectively.
