A surgical device includes a housing (110) and an elongate body (120) extending distally from the housing (110). The housing (110) defines a filter chamber (130) and a pump chamber (140) therein, the filter chamber (130) in fluid communication with the pump chamber (140). A filter assembly (132) is disposed within the filter chamber (130), and a pump (142) is disposed within the pump chamber (140). The elongate body (120) defines first and second lumens (122, 124) therethrough, and includes at least one first opening (123) in fluid communication with the first lumen (122) and at least one second opening (125) in fluid communication with the second lumen (124). The first lumen (122) is in fluid communication with the filter chamber (130) of the housing (110) and the second lumen (124) is in fluid communication with the pump chamber (140) of the housing (110) thereby forming a closed filtration loop through the surgical device.
