A front attachment lift mechanism 104 for a lawn tractor comprising a front hitch weldment 106 connected to the tractor frame having a plurality of side plates 122, 124 which support a front attachment, a plurality of hitch arms 126, 128 extending rearwardly and upwardly on either side of the frame, a rear weldment 112 comprising a plurality of brackets 160, 158, having upper portions 178 which are connected by support bars 174, 176 to each other, and a forward end extending forwardly and downwardly from the upper portions, and a plurality of wireform assemblies 108, 110 being connected between each of the hitch arms and the forward ends of the rear brackets. Additional embodiments comprise of a front attachment lift mechanism 104 having a plurality of wireform assemblies connected to either side of the rear weldment wherein they are removably attached to the plurality of lift arms, wherein the wireform assemblies extend forwardly over the front axle of the tractor to the front hitch； and also, the front attachment being removable and pivotably secured to the front of the tractor.
