PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the generation of a wasteful communication cost when a defect portion that is generated in data communication using a broadcast wave is recovered by using a communication wave.SOLUTION: A data reception terminal 20 has a broadcast wave reception function and a communication wave transmission/reception function. A communication control unit 210 receives data from a data distribution server 10 by using the broadcast wave reception function. When a determination unit 220 determines that the defect portion exists, the unit determines whether to recover the defect portion based on at least one of a communication status between the data reception terminal 20 and the data distribution server 10 and a data related status relating to data.
