Disclosed is the use of thiosulphate to potentiate the anti-pathogen effect of lactobacillus bacteria, selected from Lactobacillus rhamnosus Lcr35 and Lactobacillus crispatus BLL2005, for inhibition of a pathogenic strain Candida albicans, wherein the thiosulphate is present in an amount of at least 100 mg per gram of powder, wherein the powder comprises from 107 to 1010 CFU/g lactobacilli； a composition of the same make-up and use of said composition for inhibiting a pathogenic strain of Candida albicans.
