PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a colored metallic pigment, which can stably express various hues and interference colors rich in changes while satisfactorily maintaining light resistance, weatherability and obliterating power.SOLUTION: The colored metallic pigment includes at least: a metallic pigment an amorphous silicon oxide membrane layer formed on the surface of the metallic pigment a metal oxide layer comprising a metal oxide other than silicon oxide, and formed on the surface of the amorphous silicon oxide membrane layer and metal particles formed on the surface of the metal oxide layer.
