PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it difficult for a third person to obtain key information which is used for encoding, and to generate new key information immediately to make decoding by a third person difficult even if the key information leaks.SOLUTION: From a radiation detecting unit 40 for detecting a radiographic image of a subject by receiving radiation transmitted through the subject, a radiographic image signal representing the radiographic image is read out, and information about an imaging operation carried out to obtain the radiographic image of the subject is obtained.
