PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slipping stopper for a safety rope in which attachment/detachment to/from the safety device for climbing a tree is easy, and the safety of a worker at the time when climbing up/down a tree by using this safety device can be improved.SOLUTION: A slipping stopper for a safety rope is used by being wound on a peripheral side surface of a safety rope 15 for supporting a worker's body at the time when climbing a tree, and for preventing the slipping of the safety rope 15 at the time when latching the safety rope 15 to a tree trunk.
