A pharmaceutical composition for treating a fungal infection of the nail, containing an allylamine antifungal compound present in an amount of more than 5%, an organic acid or its ester, a diol and a complexing agent, wherein said complexing agent is an aminoacetic acid, and said pharmaceutical composition, according to essentially free of water. 2. A composition according to claim 1, characterized in that said allylamine antifungal compound is dissolved in said composition. The composition of claim 1, wherein the organic acid is lactic acid. A composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the organic acid or its ester is present in an amount of from 5% to 25%. A composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the diol is selected from the group consisting of propanediol, butanediol, pentanediol and hexanediol. 6. A composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the diol is present in an amount of more than 50% .7. A composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the allylamine antifungal compound is terbinafine. A composition according to claim 1, characterized in that the allylamine antifungal compound is present in an amount of from 5% to 12% .9. The composition of claim 8, wherein the allylamine antifungal compound is present in an amount of from 8% to 11.5%. 10. A composition according to claim 1, wherein the aminoacetic acid is ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA). 11. The composition of claim 1, comprising lactic acid in an amount of 5% to 25%; a diol selected from the group consisting of more than 50% propanediol, butanediol, pentanediol and hexanediol; ter�1.
