PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel and effective preadipocyte growth-promoting agents which can be supplied stably, and to provide various compositions (skin cosmetics, hair cosmetics, food and drink compositions, and pharmaceutical compositions) which contain the preadipocyte growth-promoting agents.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a preadipocyte growth-promoting agent which contains as an active ingredient one or more of fermented soybean milk liquid and Sambucus nigra extract. The invention also provides skin cosmetics, hair cosmetics, food and drink compositions, and pharmaceutical compositions which contain the preadipocyte growth-promoting agent.
