Hydroxystilbene-containing active substance combination (I) containing at least two compounds, resveratrol and piceatannol precursors or their derivatives, stereoisomers, salts or phenolic forms, is used for preparing an agent (II) for the prevention and/or treatment of diseases caused by increased serum interleukin-6 (IL-6) level, where their occurrence and/or progress is treated by a dose of estrogen receptor-beta agonist. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a dosage form comprising active substance or (I) in a pharmaceutically or dietically acceptable carrier； and (2) an agent comprising the dosage form.
