The invention relates to a system for applying to the trunk (4) of a palm tree, serving as a lifting and holding means for the leaves (3) thereof, or as a support means for additional plants, of the climbing type or other types, or even for supporting elements such as photovoltaic plates, wind generators, antennae etc. The system is based on the arrangement of two rings (1) and (2) on the trunk (4) of the palm tree, ring (1) being the one which is fixed to the trunk, and having an adjustable contour so as to be able to adapt to the increasing thickness of the trunk (4) of the palm tree as it grows, or being fixed and applied to the fully grown trunk, while ring (2) is suspended in relation to the previous one and is wider, the two rings (1 and 2) being connected by means of suitable struts (5) that are length-adjustable or fixed, deformable or rigid, and complemented by a third stabilisation ring (6) which is connected to the lifting ring (2) by means of struts (7), the contour of said stabilisation ring (6) also being adjustable or fixed.El sistema está previsto para su aplicación sobre el tronco (4) de una palmera, sirviendo de sustentación y sujeción para las hojas (3) de ésta, o para servir de soporte para plantas adicionales, ya sean trepadoras u otras, o incluso para soportar elementos tales como placas fotovoltaicas, generadores eólicos, antenas, etc. El sistema se basa en la disposición de dos anillos (1) y (2) sobre el tronco (4) de la palmera, siendo el anillo (1) el que se fija sobre el tronco, pudiendo ser regulable en contorno para irse adaptando al aumento de grosor del tronco (4) de la palmera en su desarrollo, o ser fijo y aplicarse sobre el tronco ya desarrollado, mientras que el anillo (2) queda suspendido respecto del anterior y es de mayor contorno, relacionándose ambos anillos (1 y 2) mediante oportunos tirantes (5), que pueden ser regulables en longitud o fijos, deformables o rígidos, complementándose con un tercer anillos de estabilización (6)
