The mandibular movement of a patient is reproduced on a computer. Three-dimensional models representing the maxillary and mandibular of the patient are acquired. An excursive movement between the acquired three-dimensional model representing the maxillary and the acquired three-dimensional model representing the mandibular is derived. An excursive movement posterior to the intercuspal position is derived.
