PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a skin external composition and a cosmetic having no change over time in strength, quality and color of fragrance by stabilizing terpenoid unstable at 50°C as a high temperature condition which can be actually present in transportation or a storage place for a skin external composition and a cosmetic.SOLUTION: A skin external composition is characterized by containing 1) a compound having an aromatic group or a heteroaromatic group (particularly, a diphenylmethyl group or a triphenylmethyl group) and 2) terpenoid, where the terpenoid is preferably selected from cyclic terpenoid, non-cyclic terpenoid, an alicyclic compound structurally related to terpenoid, and mixtures thereof.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】皮膚外用組成物や化粧料が輸送あるいは保管される場所において実際にあり得る高温条件である50℃において、不安定であるテルペノイドを安定化させ、香りの強度や質、色が経時的に変化しない皮膚外用組成物や化粧料を作製することを課題とした。【解決手段】1)芳香族基又は複素芳香族基(特に、ジフェニルメチル基またはトリフェニルメチル基)を有する化合物と、2)テルペノイドを含有することを特徴とする皮膚外用組成物であって、テルペノイドが、環状テルペノイド、非環状テルペノイド、テルペノイドに構造的に関連した脂環式化合物、およびそれらの混合物から選択されることがより好ましい。【選択図】なし
