To provide a flusher for shunting cerebrospinal fluid in the treatment of hydrocephalus.SOLUTION: A flusher 1400 includes: a body 1404 having an upstream port 1406 and a downstream port 1408； a flushing channel extending from a cerebral ventricle channel and a drainage channel to a dome 1410； and a valve disposed in the flushing channel, the valve having a first position at which the cerebral ventricle channel and the drainage channel are in fluid communication with each other and the dome is not in fluid communication with the cerebral ventricle channel or the drainage channel via the flushing channel and a second position at which the dome is in fluid communication with the cerebral ventricle channel via the flushing channel and the drainage channel is not in fluid communication with the dome or the cerebral ventricle channel.
