The cell repair agent includes at least one type of a polyphenol represented by the following general formula (1), a polymer thereof, and a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. R2 and R3 are preferably hydrogen atoms, and R1 is preferably a hydrogen atom or a hydroxyl group.
