According to an embodiment of the present invention, a volume rendering method comprises the following steps: obtaining three-dimensional volume data on an object； setting a parameter on a first voxel included in the three-dimensional volume data as a first value, and setting a parameter on a second voxel included in the three-dimensional volume data as a second value； and rendering by applying the first value to the first voxel, and applying the second value to the second voxel. Therefore, a rendering image having a generally improved image quality is provided.본 발명의 일 실시 예에 따른 볼륨 렌더링 방법은, 대상체에 대한 3차원 볼륨 데이터를 획득하는 단계, 상기 3차원 볼륨 데이터에 포함되는 제1 복셀에 대한 파라미터를 제1 값으로 설정하고, 상기 3차원 볼륨 데이터에 포함되는 제2 복셀에 대한 파라미터를 제2 값으로 설정하는 단계 및 상기 제1 복셀에는 상기 제1 값을 적용하고, 상기 제2 복셀에는 상기 제2 값을 적용하여, 렌더링하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
