PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intraocular lens insertion tool of a new and simple structure which is used to insert an intraocular lens into an eye and which permits the storage condition of the intraocular lens to be made visible from the outside while sufficiently securing the strength.SOLUTION: A pair of side plates 35a and 35b projecting to the bottom plate thickness direction both sides from width direction both edges are provided to the bottom plate 31 of a mounting section 24 storing the intraocular lens 14 and the cross-section of the mounting section 24 is shaped into a near H. The mounting section 24 including the bottom plate 31 and the side plates 35a and 35b and the apical nozzle portion 80 are integrally molded from a transparent synthetic resin. Consequently, the bottom plate 31 is made sufficiently thin-walled while retaining the strength of the side plates 35a and 35b and the intraocular lens 14 stored in the mounting section 24 is made visible from the outside through the translucent bottom plate 31.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】眼内レンズを眼内挿入するのに用いられる眼内レンズの挿入器具であって、強度を充分に確保しつつ、眼内レンズの収容状態を外部から目視で確認可能と為し得る、新規で且つ簡単な構造の眼内レンズの挿入器具を提供すること。【解決手段】眼内レンズ14を収容する載置部24の底板31に対して、その幅方向両端縁部から底板厚方向両側に突出する一対の側板35a,35bを設けて、かかる載置部24の断面を略H形状とした。また、これら底板31および側板35a,35bを含む載置部24と先端のノズル部分80とを透明な合成樹脂で一体成形した。これにより、かかる一対の側板35a,35bで強度を確保しつつ底板31を充分に薄肉とし、載置部24に収容された眼内レンズ14を透光性の底板31を通じて外部から視認できるようにした。【選択図】図15
