PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy of dose calibration in lamination irradiation by performing the dose calibration in the lamination irradiation by each layer.SOLUTION: A dose calibration method for a particle beam treatment apparatus radiates a particle beam to a prescribed area of a target volume which is divided into a plurality of layers in a particle beam advance direction. The particle beam treatment apparatus includes: a particle beam irradiation unit 105 having a dose monitor for monitoring the dose of the particle beam as a count value to form an irradiation field within the prescribed area and a treatment control unit 102 for controlling the operation of the particle beam irradiation unit.
