The device i.e. cutting pliers (10), has a support part (12) comprising a support surface (14) for subject matters. A cutting part (18) limited-pivotable around a pivotal axis opposite to the support part between a cutting position in which a cutting device (24) is lowered on the support surface and a load position in which the cutting device is raised from the support surface. The cutting device comprises two cuttings (26), where cutting edges (28) of the cuttings are turned toward the support surface, extended from a common output point and transverse to each other.
