PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop an opaque material for forming a metal color shielding layer in which a shielding effect of a metal color is further enhanced, and brightness of an artificial tooth made from a resin can also be kept good, when a tooth restorative material made from a resin is piled and an artificial tooth is made on a metal substrate, in the opaque material for forming a metal color shielding layer which is made to intervene between both the member materials in order to cover the metal color of the metal substrate.SOLUTION: A kit for metal color shielding for dentistry includes: (A) an opaque material for forming a metal color shielding layer consisting of a photopolymerizable composition and (B) a surface coating material which comprises a transparency particle in which the average particle size is 1-200 &mum, and which has a different refractive index (32°C) with that of a cured product of a polymerizable monomer contained in the opaque material for forming a metal color shielding layer of the (A), or the dispersion thereof, and is used to cover the top surface of the opaque material layer formed by the opaque material for forming a color shielding layer of the (A).
