ANTI-INFLAMMATORY AGENT An object of the present invention is to provide a composition that can be used as a novel anti-inflammatory agent. An inflammation such as stomatitis, oral mucositis, gingivitis, or pneumonia can be ameliorated and/or prevented by using a composition comprising olanexidine or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof. The composition of the present invention preferably further comprises a poloxamer which is a block copolymer consisting of a chain of polyoxypropylene (POP) and two chains of polyoxyethylene (POE) flanking the POP.
