A composition for powder inhaler (DPI), characterized in that 90 wt.% Or more of the composition is beclomethasone solvate and up to 10 wt.% Of the composition is a carrier or excipient, and where beclomethasone solvate is obtained by forming a suspension (i) of droplets containing beclomethasone, dissolved in a solvent, in (ii) water or C-carbohydrate, as a non-solvent for beclomethasone, and by treating these droplets with ultrasound to form crystallized beclomethasone particles. 2. A composition for a powder inhaler according to claim 1, characterized in that said C-hydrocarbon is non-cyclic, linear or branched. A composition for a powder inhaler according to claim 2, characterized in that said C-carbohydrate is heptane. A composition for a powder inhaler according to claim 3, characterized in that said heptane is n-heptane. A powder inhaler composition according to any one of claims 1 to 5, comprising beclomethasone solvate particles with a diameter of 0.5-10 microns. 6. A composition for a powder inhaler according to claim 5, characterized in that the particle size distribution corresponds to the following range of values: X =>; 0.1 μm, X = <;5 μm and X = <;10 μm. 7.
