The invention relates to a drug dispensing system for orally administering a drug to a patient without risk of spillage or contamination. The system comprises: a syringe for extracting the drug； an adapter that is fitted to the vial containing the drug, acting as a sealed inner lid； and a housing or hood for protecting the syringe and adapter.
