The method comprises the following steps of: obtaining a surgery video by a computer； obtaining information which divides the surgery video into one or more regions； obtaining information for surgery steps corresponding to each of the divided one or more regions； determining importance for each of the surgery steps； and controlling playback of the surgery video based on the determined importance.
