Novelty: dried kiwi slices coated with chocolate (dark, milk & white chocolate or chocolate substitutes) are disclosed. Production stages: 1) cutting of the kiwi fruit in slices; 2) spreading of caster or crystalline sugar or cinnamon on the kiwi slices ; 3) drying of the kiwi slices with preservation of the fruit’s proper humidity and nutritional components; 4) coating of the slices with a chocolate layer; 5) air-vacuum packaging of the final product. The thickness of the dried kiwi slices ranges from 2mm to 15 mm and their diameter from 5mm to 40 mm.
