FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to field of medicine. In method realisation echohepatodensitometry is carried out with determination of coefficients of liver density in zone of anterior surface of liver (zone "A") and in the area of transition of diaphragmatic surface of liver into visceral (zone "B"). Index of ultrasound wave attenuation is calculated. Degree of expression of fatty infiltration of liver is determined by comparison of patients echodensitometric and morphometric data. If patient with diabetes mellitus has density coefficient in zone "A" of liver lower than 1, and in zone "B" lower than 0.55, index of ultrasound wave attenuation lower than 45, fatty hepatosis is absent. If patient with diabetes mellitus has density coefficient in zone "A" of liver in the interval from 1 to 2.3, in zone "B" - from 0.55 to 0.85, index of ultrasound wave attenuation from 46 to 62, degree of fatty hepatosis expression is minimal. If patient with diabetes mellitus has density coefficient in zone "A" of liver in the interval from 2.4 to 3, in zone "B" - from 0.86 to 0.95, index of ultrasound wave attenuation - from 63 to 68, degree of fatty hapatosis expression is moderate. If patient with diabetes mellitus has density coefficient in zone "A" of liver is higher than 3, in zone "B" - higher than 0.95, index of ultrasound wave attenuation is higher than 68, degree of fatty hepatosis expression is expressed.EFFECT: method makes it possible to diagnose degree of fatty hepatosis expression in a reliable way.2 exИзобретение относится к области медицины. При осуществлении способа проводят эхогепатоденситометриию с определением коэффициентов плотности печени в зоне передней поверхности печени (зона «А») и в области перехода диафрагмальной поверхности печени в висцеральную (зона «В»).
