The present invention relates to gut microbiota having a prophylactic or therapeutic effect on depression and a use thereof. The gut microbiota of the present invention, Akkermansia muciniphila (AK: American Type Culture Collection accession no. ATCC BAA-835, which is the same strain as the German Collection of Microorganisms and Cell Cultures Accession No. DSM 22959) and Agathobaculum butyriciproducens SR79 (KCTC13036BP) strains improve depression-induced behaviors in animal models with depression, and have a similar or superior effect compared to conventional antidepressants, and thus may be effectively used as food, medicine, or feed for the prevention or treatment of depression and are expected to be very useful in related industries.La présente invention concerne des bactéries du microbiote intestinal présentant un effet prophylactique ou thérapeutique contre la dépression, et une utilisation correspondante.
