PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for facilitating end point timing determination, at which a residual amount of medicine contained in a water-absorbing polymer decreases to an effective amount or less.SOLUTION: In a method, an end point at which a residual amount of volatile medicine in a water-absorbing polymer swollen by including a volatile medicine-containing chemical solution decreases to an effective amount or less is displayed by whitening of the water-absorbing polymer.
