An integrated suture coating and drying tank system comprising: at least one spool (310) including a core having a suture (340) wrapped thereabout and a tank (350) configured to receive a coating composition, the tank (350) including at least one rotational driver coupled to at least one shaft (354) the at least one shaft configured to removably couple to the at least one spool (310), wherein the at least one rotational driver is configured to spin the at least one shaft (354) and the at least one spool (310) within the tank in the presence and in the absence of the coating composition to respectively form a coating on the suture and dry the suture.
