The system includes a first measurement device configured to determine a first measurement of a plurality of eggs carried by the plate. The processor communicates with the first measurement device. The processor is configured to receive the first measurement value from the first measurement device. The second measuring device is configured to determine a second measurement of the eggs in the set of plates. The second measurement device communicates with the processor such that the processor can receive the second measurement value.
