A point-of-care device for detecting a target nucleic acid is provided. The device comprises: an extraction chamber adapted to receive a biological sample, wherein said extraction chamber comprises means to extract and lyse the sample to release nucleic acid； a first amplification chamber in communication with the extraction chamber, wherein said amplification chamber comprises means to trigger nucleic acid amplification of a target nucleic acid sequence to occur； and a detection chamber in communication with the amplification chamber, wherein said detection chamber comprises means to detectably label the target nucleic acid and means to detect a signal associated with labeled target nucleic acid.Cette invention concerne un dispositif délocalisé pour la détection d'un acide nucléique cible. Le dispositif comprend : une chambre d'extraction conçue pour recevoir un échantillon biologique, ladite chambre d'extraction comprenant des moyens pour extraire et lyser l'échantillon afin d'en libérer l'acide nucléique ； une première chambre d'amplification en communication avec la chambre d'extraction, ladite chambre d'amplification comprenant des moyens pour déclencher l'amplification des acides nucléiques d'une séquence d'acides nucléiques cible ； et une chambre de détection en communication avec la chambre d'amplification, ladite chambre de détection comprenant des moyens pour marquer de façon détectable l'acide nucléique cible et des moyens pour détecter un signal associé à l'acide nucléique cible marqué.
