The present invention addresses the problem of preventing wrinkles in the MD direction of a top sheet (30) while preventing a reduction in flexibility or a deteriorated appearance when the top sheet (30) having a pushing protrusion section (31) and a second sheet (40) are joined. The problem is solved as follows. The pushing protrusion section (31) is formed through an embossing process while transferring a non woven fabric (30S) that becomes the top sheet (30) by pulling the fabric from the downstream side of a manufacturing line. Then a material (40S) for the second sheet (40) is aligned on a rear surface of the non woven fabric (30S) on which the pushing protrusion section (31) is formed. Top/second joining sections (80) are then formed in a region between the pushing protrusion sections (31) adjacent to one another in the MD direction such that a plurality of rows which are aligned to be spaced apart from each other in the CD direction cross a central position of the region in the CD direction. At the same time in a gap portion (81) between the top/second joining sections (80) in the CD direction the material (40S) of the second sheet (40) and the non woven fabric (30S) are not fused but are joined in a pattern in which the non woven fabric (30S) is compressed.
