PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generation device configured so that a brush-shaped conductor in a discharge electrode is not in contact with the surface of the device itself.SOLUTION: An ion generation device (1) includes discharge electrodes (21, 22) that generate ions by electrical discharge and an accommodation section (70) for accommodating a part of base end sections (33, 34) to which a brush-shaped conductor of the discharge electrodes (21, 22) is attached. The accommodation section (70) is filled with a resin.
