The present invention relates to a method for improving driving safety of a vehicle. The method comprises the steps of: determining (S1) the state of the driver； determining (S2) if said determined state of the driver may be considered to undesirably influence driving safety； and, if so, activating (S3) predetermined measures so as to improve driving safety. The method further comprises the steps of: storing (S4) cases of said activation of said predetermined measures； and making (S5) the thus stored cases of activation of said predetermined measures available for future actions for improving said driving safety.The present invention also relates to a system for improving driving safety.
