The present invention relates to a natural surfactant composition and a cosmetic composition containing the same. The natural surfactant composition is produced by fermenting a mixture obtained by mixing at least two extracts of ingredients selected from the group consisting of Saponaria officinalis, Yucca brevifolia Engelm. (Yucca schidigera Ortgies), and Quillaja saponaria MOLINA. The cosmetic composition of the present invention exhibits excellent surface-activating ability, emulsifying ability, aerating ability, and detergency, and provides moisturizing functions, skin stability, and skin softening ability, while barely affecting cosmetic formulation.본 발명은 비누풀(Saponaria officinalis), 유카(Yucca brevifolia Engelm.Yucca schidigera Ortgies) 및 퀼라야(Quillaia saponaria MOLINA)로 구성된 군으로부터 선택된 2개 이상의 추출물을 혼합하여 발효한 것을 특징으로 하는 천연계면활성제 조성물 및 이를 함유하는 화장료 조성물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 화장료 조성물은 계면활성력, 유화력, 기포력, 세정력이 뛰어나고, 보습력, 피부 안전성, 피부 유연작용이 우수하며, 화장료 제형에 미치는 영향 또한 매우 적다.
