PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin cosmetic having excellent salt resistance and preventing the drooling of the cosmetic caused by lowering of viscosity in the case of scooping from a container with a finger or applying to the skin, and to provide a skin cosmetic having excellent thixotropic properties to enable smooth spreading and give a moisture retention effect free from stickiness.SOLUTION: The skin cosmetic contains (A) an alkyl-modified carboxyvinyl polymer, (B) a hydrophilic silicic acid anhydride and (C) an oligomer ester composed of at least one of dibasic carboxylic acid and a polyglycerol having an average polymerization degree of 2-15.
