The mounting device forms an upper housing half (4) and a lower housing half (3) of the respirator (1) and includes at least one grip (6), which makes transportation of the respirator (1) possible. The upper housing half (4) and lower housing half (3) are provided with a connection mechanism (5), which connects the upper housing half (4) and the lower housing half (3).
