The invention relates to a device and a method for preparing ice cream. The device has a tubular body (20) and a rotary member (10) located in the tubular body (20), the tubular body (20) having a frustoconical shape that is larger in its upper part and smaller in its lower part, the rotary member (10) being successively provided from top to bottom with a cutting part (13) for cutting materials, a collecting part (14) for collecting the materials, a pushing part (15) for pushing the materials downwards, and an extrusion part (16) for engaging with the internal surface of the side wall of the tubular body (20) so as to extrude the materials. The method comprises the steps of cutting, collecting, pushing and extrusion. According to the technical solution of the invention, the fine finished products in the form of ice cream can be obtained by carrying out the steps of cutting, collecting, pushing and extruding the starting materials in a sequential manner. The existence of large particles and residues of ice in the ice cream can be avoided and thus the gustatory sensation of the ice cream is improved.Linvention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de préparation de crème glacée.
