Polymer conjugates containing a C1-inhibitor having at least one substantially non-antigenic polymer covalently attached to the C1-inhibitor via thiol group of the C1 inhibitor is provided. In the polymer conjugates of the present invention, the substantially non-antigenic polymer is attached to either free thiol from a cysteine of thiol generated from disulfide bonds in C1 inhibitor. Alternatively, the substantially non-antigenic polymer is attached to one of more thiols in C1 inhibitor via bifunctional spacer. In addition, methods of making the conjugates as well as methods of treatment using the conjugate of the present invention are also provided.La présente invention concerne des conjugués polymères contenant un inhibiteur de la C1-estérase et au moins un polymère essentiellement non antigénique fixé par une liaison covalente à linhibiteur de la C1-estérase par lintermédiaire dun groupe thiol de linhibiteur de la C1-estérase. Dans les conjugués polymères de la présente invention, le polymère essentiellement non antigénique est fixé soit à un thiol libre dune cystéine soit à un thiol généré à partir de liaisons disulfure de linhibiteur de la C1-estérase. En variante, le polymère essentiellement non antigénique est fixé à un ou plusieurs thiols de linhibiteur de la C1-estérase par lintermédiaire dun espaceur bifonctionnel. Linvention concerne, par ailleurs, des procédés de fabrication desdits conjugués, ainsi que des méthodes de traitement utilisant les conjugués de la présente invention.
