PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information transmission system for portable equipment in which required information is transmitted to a user without neither obstructing nor interrupting music reproduction.SOLUTION: The user wears an earphone 3 with a vibrator in an ear. A vibration drive device 2 is arranged between a personal digital assistant (PDA) 1 and the earphone 3 with a vibrator. The PDA 1 outputs a sound and vibration synthesizing signal obtained by combining a music sound signal and a vibration signal. The cross-over network circuit 21 of the vibration drive device 2 separates the sound signal from the vibration signal. The sound signal is supplied to the speaker 32 of the earphone 3 with the vibrator and the vibration signal is supplied from a vibration control circuit 22 to the vibrator 33 of the earphone 3 with a vibrator. Information indicating a pace distribution, for example, is transmitted to the user by the vibration of the vibrator 33.
